Doctor Who 6.01: The Impossible Astronaut

Spoilers!

1. "These are my top operatives: The Legs, The Nose, and Mrs Robinson." "I hate you." "No, you don't."
2. I have never been an acolyte of Mark Sheppard, but I think this is my favorite of his work since Badger. I prefer his voice all growly and smug, apparently.
3. Eleven and River were extra-sparky, weren't they? I kind of love how sparky they are. And paging through their respective journals, trying to figure out where they were in their timelines? Awwww. Also, everybody has chemistry with everybody (even River and Rory, in their very own scene). This pleases me.
4. I was a bit staggered along with Amy, there at the beginning, confronted with an 1100-year-old Doctor, when he had just been 900 and change a minute ago. I have mixed feelings about this whole future!Doctor bit; I kind of like the idea of Eleven off on his own for two hundred years, larking about.
5. River packing her bags in her prison cell. LOL.
6. Creepy little girl voices are creepy.
7. Eleven, making Amy and Rory truck off to America on their own? Yeesh. Also, don't they have jobs? I mean, being a kiss-o-gram probably allows for some flexible hours, but not nursing so much. HMPH.
8. I am also very curious about the circumstances which led to Amy and Rory not seeing Eleven for two months after their honeymoon adventure. Though I very much liked their amused observations of him, flirting with them, throughout the ages. (As if there weren't so many incarnations of him before that--it kind of tickles me to think that, perhaps, some of the book history stuff they were reading through could have been Nine, or Two, or Eight, and Eleven was just overlaid over those stories. Same dude, different faces.)
9. Those aliens were creepy as hell, y'all. And forgetting them immediately once you turn around? ::shudders:: It's the mouthlessness that does me in. Also, those caverns, leading to the spaceship from "The Lodger" last season. !!!!!
10. Pregnant? ...okay.
11. Apparently the creepy alien dudes were around last season as well!
